Inuru Wins Prestigious Polish-German Business Award for Its Pioneering Printed OLED Technology
WARSAW, POLAND – OCTOBER 14, 2025 – Inuru, a leader in printed OLED light technology, has been awarded the esteemed Polnisch-Deutscher Wirtschaftspreis (Polish-German Business Award) for 2025. The award recognizes the company's groundbreaking innovation, its contribution to European technological sovereignty, and its mission to bring high-tech light and display production back to Europe.
The award was presented during the 30th-anniversary gala of the Deutsch-Polnische Industrie- und Handelskammer (AHK Polen), one of Europe's largest bilateral chambers of commerce, in front of an audience of 400 business leaders, public figures, and diplomats.
"This award has enormous significance for us and our company,” said Marcin Ratajczak, Founder and CEO of Inuru. “It increases our visibility in the German and Polish markets, which is essential for our long-term vision of growing in Germany, Poland, and across Europe."
The Polnisch-Deutscher Wirtschaftspreis honors companies that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration. Inuru stood out in a highly competitive field of finalists that included Coding Giants, Kirchhoff Automotive, PREVAC, and ZW Automation. The winner was determined by a hybrid vote, with 50% coming from a professional jury and 50% from live and online public voting.
Ultimately, Inuru’s bold vision to establish the production of advanced light technology in Europe resonated powerfully with both the jury and the public. The company’s mission to ensure the continent can innovate, produce, and compete in next-generation manufacturing served as a compelling case for the award.
“This award is a powerful endorsement of our vision,” Ratajczak added. “It shows that the belief in a Europe that can once again be technology powerhouse in is shared by many. We bring European Technology Leadership back again.”
The award underscores the strategic importance of Polish-German cooperation in strengthening European industry. By developing and manufacturing its printed OLEDs within Europe, Inuru shortens supply chains, promotes sustainable production, and contributes to the region's technological sovereignty. Inuru's technology is creating new emotional and functional experiences in packaging and wearable design, turning light into a dynamic communication tool.
Building on this recognition, Inuru continues to expand its OLED production facility in Wildau, Germany, and deepen collaborations with global brands in packaging, wearables, and smart design, as well as local suppliers.
About Inuru:
Inuru is a deep-tech company scaling the production of its proprietary printed OLED technology for applications beyond traditional screens. The company's patented process allows for the cost-effective manufacturing of thin, flexible, and sustainable light sources in any shape and pattern, even in low volumes.
This capability is enabling the integration of dynamic light and information displays into new categories. Key applications include smart packaging—where light can transform packaging into an interactive, reusable component for a circular economy—and functional clothing and wearables, where flexible OLEDs can be embedded for safety, branding, or user interface purposes.
To meet growing demand, Inuru is proving its mass manufacturing capabilities at its "Dragon Factory" in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. This expansion into high-volume production solidifies the company's role in strengthening a sovereign European supply chain for advanced printed electronics.
