INURU is pleased to announce OLEDCON 2025, the first global developer conference dedicated to exploring the integration of OLED lighting into everyday products. Held in Berlin, a city known for its cultural openness and pioneering spirit, OLEDCON invites designers, technologists, artists, and thinkers to step into the light — and into a new era of product design.
Until recently, LED lighting was restricted by its shape and rigidity, and OLED remained constrained by cost and production complexity. INURU has now addressed these limitations, making OLED flexible, scalable, and affordable — opening the path for a new generation of product design.
OLEDCON is more than a conference about technology. It is a space for reflection and creation — asking how light can carry meaning, not just brightness. We believe the future lies not in products that sell because they dazzle, but in products that resonate with deeper value: ones that soothe, guide, inspire, and serve.
As innovation becomes more accessible, the responsibility of designers and technologists grows. At OLEDCON, we explore how to use this power with intention — to build not just what’s new, but what’s necessary, meaningful, and enduring.

16:00–18:00 – OLED Technology and Design Workshops
• INURU CTO Patrick Barkowski, will give a deeper inside in how to designs OLEDs, and products with OLEDs.
• Our technology team will present for hands-on sessions exploring integration, materiality, sustainability, and new ways to think with light.
18:00–20:00 – Networking & Reflection
A space to connect and exchange — with light, drinks, and ideas.
At INURU, we believe that technology must serve a greater purpose. Innovation without direction becomes noise — but innovation rooted in values creates harmony. Our work is inspired by the idea that light, when used intentionally, can heal, connect, and illuminate more than just surfaces.
We do not design for products to be consumed, but for products to be experienced — to offer something lasting in a fleeting world. OLEDCON is our way of opening that conversation with the global design and technology community.
Clara Daguin is a Paris-based fashion designer known for fusing couture craftsmanship with embedded technology. Her luminous creations, worn by global icons like Grimes and Björk, explore the intersection of body, identity, and light. A graduate of École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Clara’s work has been exhibited internationally and featured at Paris Fashion Week. Through her visionary use of light and interactivity, she redefines fashion as a living interface between the individual and the digital world.
Dr. David Kusuma is Head of Product and R&D at IAG Automotive and former President of the World Design Organization. With a background spanning engineering, design, and business, he has led global innovation efforts at Tupperware, Oregon Tool, General Electric Plastics, and Bayer Material Science. A Fellow of both SPE and IDSA, Dr. Kusuma holds advanced degrees from Cranfield University, Purdue, Tilburg University, and Carnegie Mellon. His work bridges industrial design and materials engineering, with a focus on translating emerging technologies into impactful, human-centered products.
Dr. Richard Voyles is the Daniel C. Lewis Professor Emeritus at Purdue University and a leading expert in robotics, AI, and smart materials. With a multidisciplinary background from Stanford, Purdue, and Carnegie Mellon, he has pioneered innovations in robotic materials and 4D printing—merging sensing, computing, and actuation into functional polymers. His career spans academia, industry, and government, including leadership roles at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation. Dr. Voyles is a Fellow of the IEEE and a recognized voice in cyber-physical systems and advanced manufacturing.
Nuno Alves is a creative director and innovation strategist with extensive experience in global brand design. Formerly Head of Design for Asia at Coca-Cola, he has led transformative packaging and product experiences across markets and cultures. Nuno’s approach blends storytelling, aesthetics, and emerging technologies to turn everyday packaging into moments of engagement. He is a sought-after speaker and consultant on the future of design, circularity, and brand identity in the digital age.
Loudwig van Ludens is a multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneurial visionary whose work sits at the intersection of light, emotion, and technology. His installations have been exhibited at renowned institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. As the founder and creative director of a successful design agency based in Luxembourg, Loudwig seamlessly bridges artistic expression and commercial innovation. At OLEDCON, he will explore how light—beyond its functional use—can shape human experience and reflect deeper meanings, drawing from his unique perspective as both an acclaimed artist and seasoned entrepreneur.
